Wolverine starts showing up all over the planet, Magneto goes back to being a bad guy in time for the Acts of Vengeance and it looks like the end of the X-Men. Again.

• Avengers West Coast Annual #4[1/5] / Thor Annual #14[1/6] / Fantastic Four #22[1/5] (1989) Marvel Girl is one of the seven female heroes Ghaur forces to become bride of Set; Marvel Girl and the others are freed during ATLANTIS ATTACKS.
• Marvel Super-Heroes Special #6[1/5], 7[1/5], 8[1/3] (1991) The X-Men and the Abomination take on Sentinels.
• Marvel Comics Presents #24[4/4], 25[1/4]-31[1/4] (1989) Havok gets a little help from Wolverine when he faces the Cult of the Living Pharoah.
• Marvel Comics Presents #78[4/4] (1991) Magneto makes a cameo appearance when Selene tries to manipulate the Hulk.

• Havok & Wolverine: Meltdown #1-4 (1988-1989) Havok and Wolverine's fight with Meltdown and Quark takes them all over the world and ends in Russia (Expanded in Havok & Wolverine: Meltdown tpb).
• Marvel Comics Presents #38[1/4]-47[1/4] (1989-1990) Wolverine tackles the Black Shadow/White Shadow.

• Marvel Comics Presents #51[1/4]-53[1/4] (1990) Wolverine vs Wild Child. 
• Wolverine: The Jungle Adventure (1990) Wolverine travels to the Savage Land, impregnates one of the natives and faces Apocalypse.

• Wolverine #17-18 (1989) Wolverine sides with revolutionaries in Tierra Verde and comes into conflict with Geist and Roughouse.
• Captain America #363 (1989) Wolverine makes a cameo appearance when Captain America passes through Madripoor.
• Uncanny X-Men #246-248 (1989) The X-Men defeat the Master Mold Sentinel by sending him through the Siege Perilous, losing Rogue in the process; Longshot leaves the team to find himself and Storm is killed during a battle with Nanny and the Orphan Maker.

• Spectacular Spider-Man #158 / Amazing Spider-Man #327 (1989) Magneto joins the Prime Movers and directly assaults Spider-Man when he believes the hero's new powers are his mutant abilities kicking in during ACTS OF VENGEANCE / THE COSMIC SPIDEY SAGA.
• Avengers West Coast #53 / Captain America #366 / Wolverine #19-20 (1989-1990) Magneto considers reclaiming his daughter, the Scarlet Witch, from the Avengers and plans his revenge on the Red Skull; Tiger Shark is sent to kill Wolverine when he returns to Tierra Verde during ACTS OF VENGEANCE.

• Wolverine #21-23(pp.1-21) (1990) Wolverine saves Tierra Verde from Spore.
• Uncanny X-Men #249-255 (1989) The X-Men free the Savage Land from Zaladane's control; with no Wolverine, Storm or Longshot, the X-Men pass through the Siege Perilous rather than face the Reavers; the Reavers crucify Wolverine when he returns, but he's freed by Jubilee; Magneto officially quits as Headmaster of the destroyed Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters; Polaris joins Forge and Banshee's Muir Island X-Men as they team up with Freedom Force against the Reavers; Legion kills Destiny (Destiny's death is witnessed from another perspective during X-Men Forever #2 (2001)).

• Web of Spider-Man #60-61 (1990) Magneto continues to observe Spider-Man during ACTS OF VENGEANCE / THE COSMIC SPIDEY SAGA.
• Avengers #312 / Captain America #367 / Uncanny X-Men #256-257 / Avengers West Coast #54 (1989-1990) Magneto argues with the Red Skull, then attacks him in his office and locks him in a basement to let him starve to death; the Hand locate Psylocke, turn her into the ninja Lady Mandarin and send her after Wolverine; Magneto approaches the Scarlet Witch during ACTS OF VENGEANCE.

• Avengers #313 / Avengers West Coast #55 (1990) Magneto abandons the Prime Movers and takes the Scarlet Witch away, conditioning her and sending her to attack the Avengers during ACTS OF VENGEANCE.
• Captain America #368 (1990) Magneto cameo.
• Avengers West Coast #56-57 (1990) Quicksilver rejoins Magneto, as the reunited family defeat the Avengers.

• Uncanny X-Men #258 (1990) Wolverine frees Psylocke from the Mandarin's control and starts searching for the other X-Men during ACTS OF VENGEANCE.
• Excalibur #21-25 (1990) Excalibur travel to Earth-2122 and Earth-23238 before sneaking Phoenix past Saturnyne and returning home to Earth-616 to face Galactus.
