THE END OF THE X-MEN (1967-1972)

The X-Men's fight with the Avengers may've been a big deal in the recent Avengers vs X-Men crossover, but their first crossover brawl was way back in 1968. Also, the latter half of the 1960's saw the introduction of Havok and Polaris to the team and artist Neal Adams changed the face of comics...
  • X-Men #32-33 (1967) The X-Men have a rematch with the Juggernaut.
  • Strange Tales #156 [1/2] (1967) The X-Men help Nick Fury against Hydra.
  • X-Men #34-39 (1967) The X-Men team up with Spider-Man, defeat Factor Three and gain new costumes.

  • Amazing Adventures #9-10 (1971-1972) Magneto tries to control Black Bolt during THE KREE-SKRULL WAR.
